Leslie Turner

Turner & Turner Advertising, Inc.

I have had the good fortune of working in the drone industry for fourteen years as a consultant in marketing and advertising to Mission Technologies. Working with BOEING, the US Navy, and British Ministry of Defence. Together with Tom Turner of Turner & Turner Marketing our tasks included Congressional liaison, preparing RFPs, and developing the company's brand image, marketing and advertising collateral material.

Leslie Turner has a graduate degree, a Master of Science in Advertising
from Medill, Northwestern University and is an Adjunct Instructor in Advertising at the Art Institute in San Antonio, Texas.

Ogilvy & Mather Direct. Advertising in London, England

As an art director I worked under the strong creative influences of Dratyon Bird, and Creative Directors Chris Jones & Christian Digby-Firth and Beth Craig, all of whom I greatly admired. Some of the accounts included TWA, American Express, British Philatelic, British Telecom, Fidelity Investments, The Financial Times (FT), Lifestyles Television, Ltd., Magnet & Southerns, Rank Xerox UK, Save The Children, Screensport Television, Ltd., Tabasco, TWA - Trans World Airlines, SAAB Scania, SAAB Fairchild.

Forma Gruppen Agency. Advertising in Linkoping, Sweden

I worked under the creative auspices of Sten Ohlsson, Kanji Okada, Sven Olav, and Wolfgang. Designing tri-lingual brochures was an exciting challenge. Clients and Products included SAAB Scania and the SAAB Fairchild 340 executive jet.

ITEP, Colomiers, France

As a technical illustrator I worked for ITEP, a technical publications firm in the South of France, working on aircraft manuals.

Visual Concepts, Houston, Texas

Before my venture in international advertising I worked with a graphics and production house in Houston, Texas called Visual Concepts under Creative Director Bill Kantz, and Jack Ziegler. Bill was well known for his illustrations of the iconic Exxon Tiger. Visual Concepts included both local and national advertising accounts, such as Pizza Hut.

Giving back to the community is important. Many years have been dotted with charity and community service projects through several organizations, including the American Diabetes Association in Houston, and Rotary International in San Antonio.
